Limitless Trails are very excited to be offering another Secret Santa Series, deep in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park.

We would ask you to show some Christmas spirit and all bring a small secret santa wrapped gift to the value of £5 - A secret Santa bucket will be available for you to choose a gift once you have returned. Mulled wine and a mince pie will be waiting for you at the finish... if you care to dress up to celebrate the festive season then please go for it.
We use this event to support local families in need - please help us by bringing an unwrapped gift suitable for ages 0 - 18yrs.
What to Expect
Registration and kit check will be at Registration - time to be confirmed by email prior the event.
Our checkpoints will be well stocked so you’ll be well fuelled throughout the day. We cater for all dietary requirements including vegans. At our checkpoints you can expect to be met with bananas, sweeties, biscuits, crisps, electrolytes, coke, squash, water and if you’re very lucky, some homemade cake.
Support crews, friends and families are more than welcome to attend the checkpoints however we do ask that runners take priority overall. Please be considerate of our neighbours at checkpoints - keep the noise down to a minimum and be considerate when parking.
During the event, you will also be supported by a full mobile medical unit. Support runners will be on the course at various locations if needed for vital support – all experienced within this Mountain Range.
Our canicross runners are very welcome (Dogs must be kept on leads at all times)

We want to encourage new trail runners to join this fantastic, supportive community as well as offering a challenging course for the seasoned trail runners in the half marathon. Whether you sprint or dance round this course, we guarantee you’ll have a phenomenal day!
Brief Route Outline
** We are excited to announce new and fresh trails for our Secret Santa Series from previous years.
We hope you are excited to be running new routes and views **
Starting from the historic Tretower Court & Castle all distances head west towards Bwlch Mountain. Set deep within the Brecon Beacons National Park.
All routes will follow the Beacons Way until they split on Mynydd Llangors. The Half distance follows the trail on the Cockit Hill. Following the trails left with views of the lake and central Beacons in the distance, you will climb back up to regain the mountain trails back towards Cefn Moel, before the last varied miles back to the Castle. The Ten & 12km both follow the same route up however they will turn around earlier depending on the distance. All the distances will be full marked and will have our back runners for added safety.
8 hr cut off time is allocated for the events - approx 9am - 5pm.

IMPORTANT
MANDATORY KIT - Waterproof Jacket/trousers, Race vest, capacity to carry 1 litre of fluid, food, , telephone, hat & gloves, appropriate footwear (trail shoes) first aid kit, foil blanket, & whistle. No participant will be allowed to participate without full kit. Full kit check at registration, spontaneous checks will be carried out on the event.
Please note that we are a cup free event - please remember to bring your reusable cup
CAMPING
We have a field with toilets within walking distance of HQ for basic camping. No need to book, we’ll share details on the pre-race email.
