COVID-19 Health And Safety Guidelines

LIMITLESS TRAILS PARTICIPANT REGULATIONS

What you need to bring, how the events will look and what you can expect on the day.

1. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND ANY ORGANISED EVENT by Limitless Trails if you feel or have symptoms or similar of COVID-19 or have been in close contact with anyone that has developed or been tested positive to COVID– 19.

  • High temperature

  • Cough

  • Fatigue

  • Loss of smell or taste

2. Face mask, covering and gloves are mandatory both during Registration prior and post-event in and around HQ – Head Quarters.

3. The 2-meter Social distancing rule must be obeyed at all times unless reduced prior to the event. Please be courteous and leave lots of space when passing other participants on the course.

4. Parking at events – you must follow the stewards and park 4/6 meters apart – if camping 8 meters. Camping will be allowed next to your car – toilets will be provided – YOU MUST DISPOSE OF ALL RUBBISH INDEPENDENTLY.

5. Toilets – will be provided 4 meters apart.

  • We will provide loo paper but you can provide your own if you wish.

  • There will be a hand wash station near the toilets.

  • Each toilet will have gloves and wipes - Participants must wipe down toilets before AND after use.

  • There will be clinical waste bags for the wipes and gloves.

  • Hand gel will be available – we encourage you to carry spare around registration as well as the mandatory bottle in your kit.

6. NO SPECTATORS ON OR AROUND THE COURSE - We appreciate that bringing spectators to the event is part of the fun, but for now we have to prioritize our participants and keep our numbers down. We will, however, keep everyone up to date and as soon as we’re allowed to welcome spectators again then we’ll encourage everyone to do so!

7. RACE BRIEFING WILL BE EMAILED PRIOR TO THE EVENT – some added information will be given if needed before the event begins.

8. Our medical team reserve the right to withdraw any participant prior to or during the event if they feel that they have justification, concerns regarding any symptoms displayed. THIS IS NON NEGOTIABLE!

9. We ask you to show the utmost respect to our LIMITLESS TRAILS event staff and volunteers at all times – keep your distance.

10. Litter & recycling bins will be provided however to help reduce the risk of contamination we ask you to take home what is yours on the day.

11. Drop Bag Zones – to avoid contamination we will not be able to provide a drop bag zone for the foreseeable future – all personal items are to be left in your vehicles; we do not accept any responsibility for any personal items.

12. Medals & trophies to be collected from the appropriate area - TBC on the day.

13. Check Points –

  • Please use your gloves when selecting snacks which will be in individual pots.

  • Please use clinical waste bags for disposal.

  • It will be your responsibility to refill your drink bottles – please do not ask our staff to do so.

  • Form an orderly queue and remember to respect the 2-metre social distancing rule.

14. There will be no physiotherapists at the event.

15. There will be a staggered start of 1 minute. Finish times will be adjusted accordingly.

16. Mandatory kit will now include HAND GEL - GLOVES - FACE MASK/COVERING.

The safety of our staff and our participants is our main priority, therefore anyone who cannot be seen to be obeying the COVID Regulations at ALL times will be pulled from the course and disqualified.
